Verify a marks card or certificate
Employers, universities, embassies and verification agencies can confirm here, at no cost, that a marks card or certificate was genuinely issued by the college. Scan the QR code on the document, or type the number printed on it.
Scan the QR code
Use this phone's camera to scan the QR code printed on a marks card (from the 2023 batch onwards) or a certificate.
Verify a marks card
Type the Sl No printed on the sheet, or the Document No. printed beside the QR code, together with the student's College Roll No. Works for older marks cards too.
Verify a certificate
Provisional Pass, Transfer, Migration, Study, Course Completion, Character and Conduct certificates and Official Transcripts: type the certificate number and the student's College Roll No.
These cards can still be verified. Type the Sl No printed on the card with the College Roll No. If the card is not found, ask the Examination Office to verify it for you and you will receive an official written reply.
How verification works
Where to find each number on a marks card
- Sl No: the serial printed on the stationery. Every marks card has one, including older cards.
- Document No. and the QR code: printed on marks cards from the 2023 batch onwards.
- Verification Code (security code): needed only to see the marks.
What each result means
For employers, universities and agencies
What an online check confirms
That the document was issued by ST. PHILOMENA'S COLLEGE (AUTONOMOUS) to the named student, for the stated programme and examination, and that it has not been cancelled. With the security code, it also shows the marks as printed, protected by a digital fingerprint.
Each check is given a verification reference and a date and time. Print the result page or save it as PDF for your file.
Need written confirmation?
If your organisation needs an official letter, or the document cannot be found online, submit a verification request. The Examination Office checks the original records and replies with a signed verification letter that can itself be verified on this portal.
Submit a verification requestFrequently asked questions
Is there a fee for verifying online?
No. Online verification on this portal is free for everyone.
The QR code opened a different website. What should I do?
Do not trust that document. Genuine documents open only on verify.stphilos.ac.in. Please inform the Examination Office using the contact details below.
The portal says "Not found", but the document looks genuine.
Check the number and the College Roll No. for typing mistakes. Records for some older batches are still being added. Submit a verification request and the office will check the original register.
Why do I need the security code to see the marks?
To protect the student's privacy. The security code is printed only on the physical card, so the marks are shown only to someone the student has given the card to.
The marks shown differ from the card in my hand.
The portal shows the marks exactly as printed at issue. Any difference means the card may have been altered. Please contact the Examination Office.
What information does the portal keep about my check?
The date and time, the result and the network address of the check, to protect students against misuse. The numbers you type are not stored in readable form.
